Manchester United Women manager Marc Skinner has confirmed that Phallon Tullis-Joyce is ready to return to action. The American goalkeeper has been training for the last few days and will be available for selection.
Phallon Tullis-Joyce back
Tullis-Joyce's return is a welcome boost for the team as they prepare to face West Ham United on Sunday. Skinner has previously referred to Tullis-Joyce as “one of the best in the world”.
Celin Bizet pregnant
Skinner also confirmed that Norwegian star Celin Bizet will be out of action for the foreseeable future as she is currently pregnant. The manager congratulated Bizet and her partner, Aron, on the news.
Decline in form
Despite a strong start to the season, Manchester United Women have declined recently, losing against Wolfsburg, Manchester City, and Aston Villa in quick succession. Skinner claimed that he wants to see his side return to the form of earlier in the season.
