Manchester United Women have confirmed their travelling squad for the pre-season training camp in Spain. The Red Devils, who finished 4th in the FA WSL last season with 40 points (11W-7D-4L), are preparing for the upcoming campaign with a mix of experienced players and young talents.
The 25-player squad includes new signings Janina Leitzig (goalkeeper) and Andrea Medina (defender), alongside established stars like Ella Toone, Hinata Miyazawa, and Elisabeth Terland. Young prospects such as Evie Mitchell, Scarlett Hill, and Ellen Wangerheim are also part of the group.
United will play a behind-closed-doors friendly against Leicester City before traveling to Spain, where they will face Newcastle United in another pre-season match. The training camp aims to build cohesion under Olid, who replaced Marc Skinner after his departure this summer.

The off-season has seen significant turnover, with star striker Melvine Malard among those leaving. The squad now features a blend of experience-like defenders Dominique Janssen and Maya Le Tissier-and emerging talents, including midfielder Simi Awujo and forward Lucy Newell.
With the new season approaching, the focus is on adapting to Olid’s tactics and integrating new players. The team, which scored 38 goals and conceded 22 last season, will aim to close the 15-point gap to leaders Manchester City W. The Spain camp is a key step in their preparation.
